Confraternity of the Marian Vow
Under the patronage of Our Lady, the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Joseph, members of the Confraternity of the Marian Vow seek to know and love the Immaculate and Blessed Virgin Mary so as to be instruments in her hands for the conversion and sanctification of themselves, the Church and world. In order to facilitate this goal, members aim at the perpetual renewal of their baptismal promises by means of a Vow to the Most Holy Trinity of unlimited consecration to the Immaculate Virgin Mary. Thus, by their daily suffrages and spiritual obligations joined with one another by this Marian Vow, a light of grace and mercy might shine out to the ends of the earth.
Membership requirements:
1.A monthly written reflection for initial preparation for the Marian Vow for each month is required for each of the 15 months of preparation for the Vow of total consecration. A delay of more than 3 months presumes withdrawal from immediate preparation. (For spiritual or serious reasons, the spiritual director of the Confraternity can determine removal or withdrawal from either preparation or membership.)
2.After preparation, profession of the Marian Vow according to the Confraternity of the Marian Vow enrolls an individual as a member of the Confraternity sharing in all the spiritual works of the members. Once professed, the Marian Vow is renewed for 1 year and if desired and requested a profession of a perpetual Marian Vow according to the Confraternity of the Marian Vow may occur. Otherwise, a member may continue with a yearly renewal without any detriment to their membership with the Confraternity of the Marian Vow. (Profession is to take place in the presence of a cleric of the Roman Catholic Church).
