Have us come to your parish

Worldwide Retreats and Parish Missions on Marian Catechesis, The Most Blessed Sacrament & Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration

Who are we?
The primary mission of our new religious community, The Society of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament is to pray for the worldwide mission of Our Lady. This is mission of hers is to make her Divine Son, Jesus Christ better known and loved in the Church and her Sacraments, in particular the Most Blessed Sacrament. For this end, we will occasionally go out on missions for Our Lady, at regular intervals so as not to disturb the heart of our contemplative life of perpetual adoration in our house.

What can we do for you?
The general emphasis of our missions is to foster a deeper love and knowledge of the relationship between Marian consecration and Eucharistic adoration. Presenting through a short series of talks, this particular relationship of Jesus and Mary as the bridge and source of personal and ecclesial renewal and peace. In other words, we speak on the mystery of reparation, understood as “re”-“pairing”, which is to say the making whole, or re-uniting of men and woman through the Paschal mystery present in the Most Holy Sacrament.

What will it look like?
The general structure intended for our missions is fivefold: Continuous adoration throughout the day and into the night; The offering of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass; Conferences by the friars, The availability of the Sacrament of Confession, and finally a Marian and Eucharistic procession.

At the close of our missions, it is our intent to be permitted also to preach at all Sunday Masses for the parish. During which we would speak directly to the encouragement of adorers for the establishment of a chapel of perpetual adoration on the site. We will be in continued contact with the adorers through the “leaders” of the adoration chapel, in order to provide support and advice, both spiritual and otherwise.

“Do not be afraid, I am with you!” says the Lord Jesus.

If we are unable to assist you with the chapel’s maintenance, because of the nature of our contemplative life, we will refer you to either the Missionaries of the Blessed Sacrament (affiliated community of apostolic priests dedicated to spreading PEA), or to other sources and lay groups who support the mission for PEA.
*We are also available to assist with retreats and conferences for parishes that already have perpetual adoration chapels established, in order to deepen the spirit of perpetual adoration through Our Lady Mediatrix and Adoratrix.
